Tracy Hill, a favorite female vocalist at Donk’s “Came for
a contest back in 2000, and stayed to become one of our most talented
and most loved performers,” said a spokesperson from Donk’s.
Tracy was born and raised in Seaford, Virginia, where she began singing
in church when she was five or six and continued singing all through her
school years, performing in her school’s presentation of “Guys
and Dolls” and “South Pacific.”
Tracy cut her country music teeth singing with a band called “Southern
Pride”, which entertained at locally at country music establishments
and Moose lodges. When her children were born, she stopped singing with
the band and now is a valued member of her church choir and sings at weddings
and funerals and at Donk’s!
Whether Tracy is singing Patsy Cline or Martina McBride, an old Marty
Robins tune or a new show tune, her voice is always melodic and true and
a pleasure to listen to. She has brought the Donk’s audience to
its feet on more than one occasion with her rendition of “Broken
Wing”. “Tracy has a spectacular voice and the talent to use
it wisely, besides that she is a wonderful person and a beautiful young
woman. We are proud to present her as the featured entertainer at Donk’s,”
said Lynda Smith, Talent and Production Manager.
