2008 Banner Display Advertising

Donk’s Theater is proud to offer advertising opportunies at our location at the intersection of Route 198 and 623 in Mathews County.

Background Information:

Originally, Donk’s Theater was built as a movie theater in 1947. Members of the Smith family of Mathews converted it in 1975 to a country music hall providing quality family entertainment for over 30 years. It has played host to stars such as Dolly Parton, Lorrie Morgan, Linda Davis, Joe Diffie, Porter Wagoner, Bill Anderson, Ernest Tubb, Mickey Gilley and many others. Starting on February 16, 2008, and continuing every other Saturday night, there are 22 shows with audiences averaging 300-350 people per show. The majority of the audiences (at least 70%) are visitors to the County with approximately 15-20% first-time newcomers to the County. Especially in the summer months, a lot of our audience members are weekenders or vacationers.

Advertising Opportunies:
• Advertisers could purchase a professionally made 4’x8’ all-weather banner with their company’s logo and information
• Banners will be placed on the interior walls of Donk’s Theater
• Banners will hang for the entire 2008 season with an option for the 2009 season.
• Advertisers will be mentioned on stage during each show drawing attention to the banners

Price:
• One-time Banner fee - $145.00*
• Ad fee - $25/show
• Payments can be made annually or quarterly.
• All ad contracts are annual. No partial years are accepted.
